Coverdale Barclay delivered the communications for the regeneration of Bracknell Town Centre, from brand development and stakeholder relations, to trade and national PR, and the ultimate launch in September 2017.
At 1 million sq ft, the scheme is one of the biggest town centre regeneration projects currently in the UK, having created a new social and cultural heart for the borough, by providing high-quality retail, leisure and entertainment mix within landscaped public spaces. Anchor brands include Fenwick, Marks & Spencer and Cineworld, which complement the existing Waitrose.
The Bracknell Regeneration Partnership is a 50:50 joint venture between Legal & General Capital and Schroder UK Real Estate Fund, and is supported by Bracknell Forest Council. To date we have supported with the launch of the new brand identity, ‘The Lexicon Bracknell’ to press, stakeholders and the local community, delivered successful stakeholder initiatives, launched new social media channels, secured trade press coverage including a front cover in Drapers, and delivered the launch in September 2017.
We closely collaborated with a branding agency to achieve consistency across all communication channels, from the brand new website and leasing brochure, to a digital app launched to agents and local residents, which featured an immersive, interactive tour of the future town centre.
