Coverdale Barclay worked with the Bracknell Regeneration Partnership to deliver a successful agent and retailer Open Day for The Lexicon Bracknell.

The event was attended by over fifty retailer representatives and retail agents. Highlights of the day included a detailed construction site tour around areas of the 1 million sq. ft. site, allowing guests to view the quick progress of the construction works, and get a sense of the transformation of Bracknell Town Centre, which will include 580,000 sq. ft. of new retail, restaurants and leisure.

Already 70 per cent pre-let (by floor area), The Lexicon Bracknell has attracted top fashion brands such as TopShop, TopMan, Marks & Spencer, Next, H&M, River Island and Primark. The Town Centre’s evening economy will also be transformed with the arrival of a 12-screen Cineworld and a host of high-quality restaurants, such as Nando’s, wagamama, Gourmet Burger Kitchen, Carluccio’s and Chimichanga.

The event was hosted at The Lexicon marketing suite on the 13thfloor of Ocean House, offering impressive views directly over the development site. Using immersive 3D goggles connected to The Lexicon App through iPads and touch-table, attendees at the event were able to take a virtual reality tour of The Lexicon, enabling them to explore the development as it will be upon completion in September 2017.

Guests also got to take away a high-quality gift box, which showcased the premium offering that will be available on The Avenue; The Lexicon’s destination for fashion and style. Containing gifts from Pandora and KIKO Milano, among others, it was an unexpected treat for guests to take home.

The Bracknell Regeneration Partnership (“BRP”), is a 50:50 Joint Venture between Legal & General Capital (“LGC”) and Schroder UK Real Estate Fund (“SREF”) working in partnership with Bracknell Forest Council (“BFC”), for the £240 million development The Lexicon, the new shopping and leisure destination in the heart of Bracknell Town Centre.
