This week marked one month to go until The Lexicon Bracknell’s opening. Berkshire’s next generation shopping, dining and leisure destination, opens its doors for the very first time on Thursday 7 September, following a £240million regeneration.
In celebration of the highly-anticipated milestone, a unique photoshoot on The Lexicon’s construction site was managed by Coverdale Barclay, previewing some of the stylish ensembles that will be available to shop in the new Fenwick store from opening.
The Lexicon Bracknell is bringing 580,000 sq. ft. of new shops, restaurants and leisure to the area, including the first full line Fenwick store to be opened in 14 years. Its iconic building will be situated on The Avenue – The Lexicon’s premier fashion hub – and feature three-storeys of the most sought after fashion, beauty, and accessory brands in the UK.
The first photoshoot of its kind for the area features a preview collection from Fenwick, including a silver sequin tulle dress from Michael Kors teamed with Carvela jewelled stilettoes, a Polo Ralph Lauren polka dot pantsuit and outerwear pieces from Elieen Fisher paired with Levi’s jeans and Miss KG leopard-toed trainers.
Currently 92% let, other top fashion brands that have signed up to The Lexicon Bracknell include H&M, River Island, Superdry, Joules, Timberland, Seasalt, Topshop, KIKO Milano, Pandora, Fat Face, Office and Marks & Spencer. Bracknell’s evening offer will also be transformed with the arrival of Eagle Lane – The Lexicon’s main restaurant quarter – home to casual restaurants such as wagamama, Gourmet Burger Kitchen and Carluccio’s, where visitors will be able to dine al fresco. Premium pub operator, Young’s, will open its first site in Berkshire with The Bull – The Lexicon’s Grade II listed public house – where it will serve its award-winning food and drink.
The regeneration of Bracknell is being delivered by The Bracknell Regeneration Partnership (BRP) – a 50:50 joint venture between Legal & General Capital (LGC) and Schroder UK Real Estate Fund (SREF), together with Bracknell Forest Council (BFC).
Opening celebrations will run from Thursday 7 September with a four-day programme of in-store activities, giveaways, festivities and entertainment. Visitors will have the opportunity to shop in the new stores, take advantage of exclusive offers and be amongst the first to experience Bracknell’s new evening offer.
