Elektrownia Powiśle is a 580,000 sq ft mixed-used lifestyle regeneration project in one of the most popular and fashionable districts of Warsaw city centre. Centred around a former power station on the banks of the Vistula river, the core buildings were constructed in 1904. The architecturally-appealing scheme, owned by a fund advised by Tristan Capital Partners and White Star Real Estate, features the refurbishment of the power station site with much of the original character and many building features retained.
The development includes 194,000 sq ft of retail, restaurants, bars and cafes with over 100 units and Poland’s first beauty hall. It also includes 237,000 sq ft of Class A commercial office space, 90 residential apartments and a 160-bed boutique hotel plus events throughout the year.
Urban Outfitters, the iconic American lifestyle retail brand, is to open within a Central European country for the first time and has chosen Elektrownia Powiśle as the best place to be. Coverdale Barclay was appointed to announce the news to UK and pan-European retail and property media, emphasising the strong economic, demographic and cultural attractions of the Polish capital city.
