It’s the largest of the eight Freeport’s in England, which is forecast to deliver a £2.6 billion annual boost in Gross Value Added (GVA) and attract £4.56 billion in private investment. It’s also anticipated to create over 21,000 net new jobs and new homes.

The facility is expected to cut over 50,000 tonnes of carbon emissions annually, and create around 150 jobs. We secured coverage in a range of titles across the energy, sustainability, construction and real estate sectors.
