We are proud to announce our appointment by Tameside Council to help tell the borough’s impressive regeneration and growth story, and support the positioning of Tameside as one of the UK’s most compelling investment and partnership opportunities today.
Tameside’s transformation has been driven by an ambitious local authority and its recently established Growth Unit, working at pace to acquire strategic land and deliver meaningful change for communities.
With the launch of a new Mayoral Development Corporation (MDC) on the horizon in the borough, as set out by Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham. This new MDC will create a new template for transport-led regeneration in the UK, one that harnesses Tameside’s greatest strengths: its outstanding connectivity and its rich industrial and civic heritage. Our role is to promote the progress, the vision and the opportunities to national investors and partners, and to bring local people along on the journey.
The appointment marks our latest work in the Greater Manchester region, where we support ambitious public and private sector partners shaping towns and cities. This includes our work with Stockport Mayoral Development Corporation to communicate its nationally significant regeneration programme, and with BTR developer Placefirst to promote its investment into the region (and beyond).
