Sugar House Island marks landmark moment at Dane’s Yard

Our client, Sugar House Island, the mixed-use canal-side neighbourhood in Stratford, East London, has reached a major milestone as its Dane’s Yard quarter is now fully let, following the arrival of Stratford College London for its newest site on the Island.

This achievement marks a significant moment in the evolution of the Island as a thriving workplace district, bringing together a diverse mix of education providers, creative organisations and businesses. Stratford College London joins other educational institutions such as School 360, the University of Huddersfield, East London Dance and UD Music, all supporting the next generation of talent, learning and innovation.

Reflecting on the milestone, Dan Westley, Head of Portfolio at @Vastint UK, highlighted how the vision for Sugar House Island as a mixed-use neighbourhood has now taken shape — uniting students, professionals, creatives and disruptors within a single, connected community in East London.

The announcement has already generated strong interest across the trade media, with coverage appearing in titles including Green Street News and Estates Gazette.
