CB Director, Anna Coverdale recognised as top fundraiser for this year’s CBRE Cycle to Mapic – Barcelona to Cannes, November 2015

Coverdale Barclay, Director, Anna Coverdale has been awarded top prize for raising the most money on this year’s CBRE Cycle to Mapic from Barcelona to Cannes.

Anna, who completed the 823 km ride with 40 other retail property professionals, raised over £4,000 for Coram.

Anna said, “Coram is such a worthwhile cause so combining the opportunity to raise money, get REALLY fit and ride out in the fresh air with a group of riders, I have a lot in common with, seemed a great opportunity for me”.

The 4-day ride was extremely tough, mentally and physically, the hill climbs were relentless and the challenge of getting up at 5.30 am every day was interesting.

Anna adds, “However, this experience was one of the most exhilarating of my life, the camaraderie was awesome, the scenery was just stunning and the weather was on our side in the mid 20s most days, apart from our final day early morning 2 hour mountain climb in the thick fog, freezing our pedals off.

“I will be encouraging more women to ride next year and look forward to hearing about the new route.”
