Coverdale Barclay Appoints Michael Murphy as non- executive Chairman

Coverdale Barclay announces the appointment of Michael Murphy as non-executive Chairman.

Michael has had a long career in public relations. This has included developing his own public relations businesses in the UK and working for major publicly-owned groups including positions with Weber Shandwick – based in Hong Kong and then London – and latterly at Grayling where he was global CEO.

Almost three years ago Michael established his own advisory firm, Michael Murphy & Ltd, which provides non-executive and advisory services around the world to a range of marketing and communications consultancies and agencies as well as firms in other sectors. He also mentors and advises a number of senior business leaders and is Chairman of Waypoint, which provides financial advisory services to the marketing and communications sector.

Michael is also a Governor of London Metropolitan University and a member of The Superbrands Council.
