Cultural venue operator Really Local Group will be creating a new affordable cinema, event and community space within Nuneaton’s major town centre regeneration.
Really Local Group aims to put the heart back into the high street by creating cultural offers for local people, with a track record that includes Peckham Levels and Ealing Project. Grayson Place in Nuneaton will be the Group’s first major project outside London and the southeast.
The new cinema and cultural space will make up a crucial part of the extensive entertainment offering coming to the 5.7-acre redevelopment, which will also include a food hall, 145-room Hampton by Hilton hotel, educational facilities, car park and new workspace among other amenities.
In the words of Councillor Kris Wilson from the Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council, “working with Really Local Group on their first major project outside London and the southeast demonstrates the scale of the Council’s ambition to create a bustling town centre – paving the way for a wealth of business opportunities and additional housing development and infrastructure.”
BE News, Property Week and EG all reported the news, amongst others.
The transformation of Grayson Place in Nuneaton is being delivered by Nuneaton & Bedworth Borough Council, with Queensberry as the strategic development partner.
