Coverdale Barclay appointed by Queensberry Real Estate

Coverdale Barclay has been appointed to represent Queensberry Real Estate, development managers, for the Merseyside Pension Fund, on the PR communications for the 60,000 sq. ft. shopping and leisure scheme, Tunsgate Square in Guildford, Surrey.

Coverdale Barclay’s role includes the pre-planning communication to all stakeholders and the local community, support on the public consultation, press briefings and social media.

The plans for Tunsgate Square provide a major opportunity to establish a distinctive retailing quarter, which complements the high-end retailing of this part of Guildford’s High Street. Queensberry’s vision is to provide an oasis of high-end, premium boutique retail and leisure brands in a high-quality, well-designed, contemporary building.

Planning is expected in early Spring 2015. CB’s ongoing role will be to assist the development managers, advisors and the local community throughout the brand development, the construction process and on to launch.
