Devonshire Square’s events programme exemplifies why culture and community is the future of the City

Our client Devonshire Square (DSQ) celebrates 10 years of its events programme this year. The calendar has grown from 30 events in 2015 to a whopping 234 events in 2025, including London Fashion Week catwalks, colourful Diwali celebrations, SXSW music performances and creative lunchtime workshops.
In today’s Property Week, Andy Booth at Nuveen, which asset manages DSQ, discusses the commercial and social impact of the programme and the significance on the City’s identity. With the City continuing to recover from the effects of the pandemic on working patterns and footfall, the programme has likewise evolved through the years, but has always kept community at its core.
As well as championing inclusivity through its accessible pricing and diversity of events, DSQ has continually curated events that directly respond the needs and aspirations of local workers. Nuveen’s approach to community-led programming reflects a shift amongst young people who wish to use their time in the office for personal as well as professional growth.
And, DSQ is witnessing first-hand the positive impact of its sold-out events programme on business retention and leasing.
We are proud to have worked with Nuveen for the past three years, supporting in telling stories such as these and raising the profile of DSQ as one of the City’s most exciting work, leisure and cultural destinations.
