Influencer buzz builds for Sugar House Island exhibition

Ahead of the launch of “DON’T FORGET TO TELEPORT”, we secured impactful influencer coverage for our client Sugar House Island, building early momentum and visibility for the exhibition.

Content creator, Sanny Hoskins, who has an engaged audience of over 147,000 followers on TikTok, with more than 1 million likes, shared a preview of the immersive experience ahead of opening night. This was further amplified via Instagram and her newsletter, where she featured the exhibition in her “Things to do” reel series to a following of over 94,000. Her content across TikTok and Instagram amassed more than 100,000 views.

The pre-launch coverage offered audiences a first look at the exhibition, helping to generate anticipation and position Sugar House Island at the heart of East London’s cultural scene.

This early activity set the tone for a successful private opening night, welcoming artists, collaborators and local residents. It also formed part of our continued support for Sugar House Island’s growing cultural programming and events, reflecting its ongoing commitment to a wide range of creatives, from artists to fashion designers and spoken word performers.

The influencer coverage highlights the role of digital-first storytelling in reaching new audiences and reinforcing Sugar House Island’s growing reputation as a hub for contemporary culture in East London.
