Marylebone Food Festival brought to a close with al fresco food fiesta with a twist

Celebrating one of London’s most exciting and diverse culinary destinations, this March saw the inaugural Marylebone Food Festival launch in the West End. Home to some of the most reputable names on the UK food scene such as The Providores and Tapa Room and Trishna, Marylebone Food Festival shined a spotlight on restaurants and talented chefs from the 8th – 18th March, with an impressive line-up of events.

Bringing the Festival to a close on Saturday 17th March was Marylebone Street Kitchen – an all-day al fresco food fiesta with a twist, taking place at Moxon Street car park. Free to attend, Marylebone Street Kitchen brought together a programme of drink and dining experiences, from masterclasses and workshops to tastings and talks, alongside street food and drinks from the likes of Blandford Comptoir, Sourced Market, Hoppers, La Fromagerie, As Nature Intended, Fishworks, Boxcar and The Marylebone.

The first 100 guests who arrived enjoyed a complimentary gin and tonic, courtesy of Marylebone Gin. Visitors had the chance to learn new skills, from mixology by one of London’s top mixologists, Chris Dennis, to fresh pasta making with Caffe Caldesi, whilst the Festival’s charity party, FoodCycle Marylebone, revealed how to make ingredients go further.

Coverdale Barclay delivered the Marylebone Street Kitchen on behalf of clients The Howard de Walden Estate and The Portman Estate.
