Portman Marylebone Summer Street Party celebrates storytelling

Coverdale Barclay was delighted to welcome 8,000 people to New Quebec Street and Seymour Place for this year’s Portman Marylebone Summer Street Party on Thursday 18th July. Time Out, London Evening Standard, Londonist and The Essential Journal all ran news of the event, organised on behalf of The Portman Estate, which this year celebrated ‘story-telling’, inspired by the stories behind the independent businesses in Portman Marylebone and books that have defined generations.

Marylebone’s local eateries took to the streets to provide delicious food, whilst guests enjoyed the live music, creative workshops and story-themed installations.

The renowned restaurants on Seymour Place served an array of mouth-watering street food, and summer bbqs, cocktail and wine bars lined New Quebec Street. Bringing the community together, the Street Party also welcomed restaurants and hotel bars from nearby streets.

The Portman Estate thanked partners and stakeholders at a pre-event gathering at The Grazing Goat on New Quebec Street.
