The Nuveen BIG Screen Returns to Devonshire Square

Following 2024’s success, the Nuveen Big Screen returned to Devonshire Square (DSQ) in the City of London this summer for seven weeks of free entertainment.

This year’s highlights included screenings of Wimbledon and the Tour de France, as well as National Theatre performances of The Importance of Being Earnest and Dr Strangelove.

The programme was hosted within the newly redeveloped Central Courtyard, which has been designed to provide a, appealing space for socialising, with landscaped gardens, seating and seasonal planting. In addition to providing local workers and visitors with standout entertainment, the initiative also supported DSQ’s retail and hospitality community, with restaurants and bars collaborating to provide exclusive offers and pop-ups throughout the summer.

The return of the Nuveen Big Screens demonstrated the flexibility and vibrancy of the destination and reinforced DSQ’s identity as a hub for cultural engagement and shared experiences in the City.

The screens and events were covered by a number of consumer media publications including City AM, The Standard and London on the Inside.
