Topping Out of Tunsgate Quarter in Guildford

The transformation of the impressive Tunsgate Quarter retail and restaurant development in the heart of Guildford has passed another milestone, as it celebrates its topping out.

Cllr Paul Spooner and James Whiteman, Leader and Managing Director of Guildford Borough Council respectively, joined Paul Sargent, Chief Executive and Co-founder of the developer, Queensberry, to mark the completion of the highest point of the roof. Alongside Nathan Calderwood at the project contractor, ISG, Paul Sargent, James Whitman and Paul Spooner helped to install the final section of roofing over what will be The Ivy Collection. The world-renowned restaurant will offer al-fresco dining from a terrace giving fantastic views over the historic Guildford Castle and its gardens.
