Coverdale Barclay delivers another successful stakeholder event for The Lexicon Bracknell

Coverdale Barclay planned and delivered a high-quality, private event in the heart of Bracknell, for key opinion formers and businesses from Bracknell and the wider Thames Valley area. With the aim to reinforce Bracknell Regeneration Partnership’s vision, guests heard important news about the project, including the announcement of the opening date and received an update on progress and the exciting array of confirmed new lettings.

Close to eighty stakeholders attended the event, which was hosted at The Lexicon marketing suite on the 13th floor of Ocean House, offering impressive views directly over the development site. There were speeches from Simon Russian, Head of Development at Legal & General Property and Marc Brunel-Walker, Executive Member for Economic Development and Regeneration at Bracknell Forest Council.

Using immersive 3D goggles connected to The Lexicon App through iPads and touch-table, attendees at the event were able to take a virtual reality tour of The Lexicon, enabling them to explore the development as it will be upon completion in September 2017. The Lexicon drone video, a short film showcasing Bracknell’s future town centre and highlighting key facts and figures about the development, was also screened.

The Bracknell Regeneration Partnership (“BRP”), is a 50:50 Joint Venture between Legal & General Capital (“LGC”) and Schroder UK Real Estate Fund (“SREF”) working in partnership with Bracknell Forest Council (“BFC”), for the £240 million development The Lexicon, the new shopping and leisure destination in the heart of Bracknell Town Centre.
