Snow Didn’t Delay Play at the Wembley Park retail agents’ event

Despite the sub-zero temperatures, over 100 agents arrived at Wembley Park on 1st March to hear more about the scale of developer Quintain’s vision for the new retail and leisure.

As if planned for the icy weather, the event took place in a temporary igloo outside the legendary SSE Arena, Wembley. Sophie Ellis Bextor and husband Richard Jones provided the music, whilst chef du jour, Niall Davidson, kept guests warm with tasters from the menu of his Old Street restaurant, Nuala.

The 85-acre mixed use development will include over 500,000 sq ft of retail and leisure, including some 240,000 sq ft of new build, and is due to open from late 2018. Wayne Hemingway, MBE shared his thoughts on the opportunities at Wembley, whilst Quintain’s Matt Slade (Retail Director), Angus Dodd (Chief Executive Officer), and James Saunders (Chief Operating Officer), discussed how the plans for the curated retail and leisure mix will create a new neighbourhood for North London.
