Placefirst’s first private sector JV covered across industry media

This week, our client Placefirst announced its first private sector joint venture, with housebuilder Strata Homes – a story that was covered widely across property media, including Green Street News, Inside Housing, Property Week, BE News, BTR News, Insider Media, Place Yorkshire and more.

Strata and the award-winning build-to-rent developer and operator plan to deliver more than 500 single-family rental homes by 2028, with an initial development of 128 units progressing near Thorpe Park in Leeds.

Placefirst has a long and successful history of public sector partnerships, including in the pioneering Welsh Streets in Liverpool, which recently completed. The firm’s first private sector partnership represents a new chapter of collaboration as it looks to expand its presence nationwide.

Placefirst’s chief investment officer, Anna Hwang, commented that the deal “marks a major milestone in our growth and a new approach to private sector partnership that will allow us to deliver sustainable homes at scale faster than ever before.”
