City of London’s Devonshire Square celebrates a decade of culture with dazzling Diwali festivities

Our client Devonshire Square (DSQ) lit up the City once again this week as its annual Diwali celebration returned in spectacular style — marking the 7th Festival of Lights and celebrating 10 remarkable years of cultural vibrancy at the Square.

We secured coverage for this fantastic event in two Time Out articles, Tribune India and Londonyaar.

The evening brought together colour, music, and community spirit, with guests treated to canapés, traditional Indian sweets and a signature cocktail specially crafted by DSQ’s Cinnamon Kitchen.

A dynamic dance showcase by Akademi Dance captivated audiences, blending Punjabi bhangra, graceful Kathak steps and modern Bollywood beats in an exhilarating performance that embodied the festival’s joyful energy.

The Western Courtyard was transformed into a kaleidoscope of light and colour, illuminated by twinkling installations and an exquisite rangoli artwork created by award-winning artist Miguel Rajaguru.

By blending culture, community and creativity, Devonshire Square demonstrates how placemaking can redefine the City’s public realm, transforming what was once considered solely a financial centre into a dynamic hub of connection and celebration.
