Tameside Council secures Ladysmith Shopping Centre in major Ashton regeneration move

We’re proud to support Tameside Council as it drives forward one of the North West’s most ambitious regeneration programmes, with the acquisition of the Ladysmith Shopping Centre marking another significant step in the transformation of Ashton town centre.

The acquisition adds further momentum to Ashton’s wider regeneration programme, including the restoration of Ashton Town Hall, delivery of a new covered outdoor market, and continued investment in public realm and connectivity across the town centre.

This latest step forms part of Tameside’s £1bn borough-wide regeneration pipeline, which is expected to deliver over 5,000 new homes, 3,000 new jobs and a network of high-quality town centre environments designed to reposition the borough as one of Greater Manchester’s most attractive and investable locations.

It’s a milestone that widely peaked the media’s attention, covered across the regional, property and retail press including Property Week, Estates Gazette and BENews.
