Four new deals at Devonshire Square signify continued demand for City office space

Our client Devonshire Square (DSQ), a workplace and leisure destination near Liverpool Street owned and managed by Nuveen, has had another wave of leasing success, with four new deals totalling over 35,000 sq ft. Global fintech company IPC Systems, tech company Onfido, an international investment management firm and Story Coffee have all taken space.

These deals, which we announced and were covered by all the major property press, are evidence of the continued demand for prime, sustainable office space in the City, and the continued growth of the tech sector in the Square Mile. It also represents the growing retail and hospitality presence in the area, with this site being Story Coffee’s first location outside of southwest London.

Three of these deals have taken place at Building 7, DSQ’s newest building, which underwent a £40m refurbishment to provide grade A office space, achieving BREEAM Outstanding and Nabers 5* ratings. Building 7 is now 80% let or under offer, having signed deals with Railpen, Manpower UK, ICE Services and Bullhorn UK earlier this year.

It’s rewarding to hear direct leasing interest has been achieved off the back of the media announcement.
